Best Bonus Games In Slots
  admin        July 29, 2016

SlotsBonus games are definitely the most entertaining part of any slot – they’re fun, fast-paced, break up the otherwise rather monotonous gameplay (I mean, I love slots as much as the next guy, but let’s be honest here, they can get pretty boring when you’ve played for a while) and, most importantly, can bring players some really awesome winnings at no extra cost! I’m a huge lover of bonus games, to the point where I generally try to avoid slots that don’t have some kind of bonus round unless they have some other fantastic redeeming quality (like the jackpot of “Mega Moolah”). As a result, I’ve made my way through quite a few slots in my time, and played many a bonus game in order to try them all and see how they hold up. Today we’re going to be celebrating this often unappreciated aspect of slot gambling by bringing to the forefront the best bonus games (that I know).

3. King Kong

While there was generally very little doubt in my mind about which slots would take the #2 and #1 spot, the #3 one was contested as hell! There are just so many fantastic slots with many great games, but I think that one of the most creative one is “King Kong”, which offers two very distinct bonuses – a Skull Island bonus (Kong’s home) and an Empire State bonus (the place where he dies… Spoilers for a movie that’s over 80 years old). The Skull Island bonus is fairly typical, presenting you with a map of the island and allowing you to select points on it that are home to various creatures. Getting a match of 3 gives you a bonus, unless you manage to find Kong in which case getting him just once nets you the biggest bonus. But it’s the Empire State bonus that intrigued me the most, since it actually requires some timing and reflexes instead of just sheer luck. I mean, sure, it’s something that literally a monkey could do (no pun intended), but it’s still very creative!

2. Spider-Man

Playtech’s “Spider-Man” is one of those slots with a TON of bonus games, and most of them are actually really, really great! The theme of the slot isn’t just Spider-Man – it’s his battle with the Green Goblin, and as such most bonus games are based around the concept of rivalries. For example, when you’re playing the free spins bonus, the game will constantly switch between Spider-Man and Green Goblin depending on who’s winning the fight at that particular moment, and if it’s Spider-Man the free spins counter won’t go down. There’s also a game where you, playing as the webhead, swing around the city in pursuit of the Goblin, which is animated entirely in CG and looks pretty great, for a slot! But my absolute favorite is the bonus round that’s essentially a fighting game, complete with combos and special moves. It’s great stuff! If the new Spider-Man movie is as good as those games, we’re gonna be just fine!

1. Aliens

There’s no doubt about it – “Aliens” has, by far, the best bonus game I’ve ever seen in a slot. When asked the question “What do you want from a slot bonus game”, many players will answer with “More interactivity”. Hell, that’s why they’re currently trying to legalize arcade-style games in slots! But “Aliens” proves them all wrong by providing the most tense and enjoyable experience out of all of them with absolutely zero interactivity. You play as a space marine going through a hallway and having to find ammunition in order to fight off the aliens. If you run out, the game is over and you’re dead. If you do manage to make your way through the hall, you get to fight the alien queen for the jackpot. The bonus game is intense, brilliantly animated and extremely fun despite the fact that there’s absolutely no interactivity involved. It’s a staple of just how a bigger budget can be used to enhance the slot experience!

How to Pick the Right Slot for You
  admin        June 5, 2016

slotsIt doesn’t take a genius to figure out that slots are by far the most popular online casino game out of all of them. You don’t even need to look at any statistics or research, all you have to do is open up literally any online casino ever and look at the number of games. They’ll typically have a couple of variations of blackjack, a dozen or so versions of roulette (French, American, featuring Marvel characters because everything in the world has a version that has Marvel characters these days), perhaps stuff like craps, baccarat and scratch cards… And also several hundred different slots. Seriously! It is INSANE how many slots there are in just one site, and if you’re like me and have accounts in more than one, then you’re going to be absolutely swarmed with options!

Unlike what you may believe, the stereotype of the old, toothless guy spending his pension on an online slot in the hopes of a big break is pretty wrong, according to statistics. Slot players come in all shapes and sizes, and as such they have a huge variety of tastes. Some are looking for a quick and easy chance at a quick jackpot, others prefer to win a little at a time. Some care about the bonus games, others are more interested in the visuals and the entertainment factors. How do you choose the right type of slot for you? Well, the short answer is to just try a whole ton of slots. The overwhelming majority offer the chance to test them out for free, which is exactly what you should be doing before you even consider giving them your money! If you go for 20-30 spins without any significant wins, then maaaaybe that slot’s not the best investment for you after all.

Another thing to consider are the licenses. A lot of the slots are based on movies, comic books and TV shows, and it’s not hard to find one based on something you’d enjoy. I’m a huge comic book fan, so Playtech’s Marvel slots (like “The Avengers” or “The Incredible Hulk”) are definitely among my picks, but you might enjoy something else. You could be a fan of “Game of Thrones”, or “Bridesmaids”, or “Tomb Raider”. Whatever it is, you might be able to find a slot version of it! Hell, even if it’s just a particular theme, there might still be a slot based on it! There’s slots based on everything, from ancient Egypt through jazz music to kittens (yes, really).

My point is that you need to experiment, and you need to do your own research (even if that research is only as limited as browsing through the list of slots that your preferred casino offers). Don’t just settle for playing the top slots that the casino is trying to push on you, because chances are you might be able to find something that you like a lot more hidden just beneath the surface!

PayPal To No Longer Offer Protection For Casino-Related Transaction
  admin        May 13, 2016

playing cardsA whooooole lot of people I know who gamble use PayPal in order to deal with their transactions. And why wouldn’t they? PayPal is fast, secure, easy to use and incredibly convenient, especially when it comes to casino-related money back and forth. The overwhelming majority of online casinos in the world support PayPal, meaning that even without linking as much as a credit card you can withdraw winnings online and use the money to purchase stuff or to have them directly deposited into your bank account without the casino knowing a number of it, which is great if you’ve got any kind of security concerns (I know I want as few strangers on the Internet knowing my bank account number as possible, the only exception being a certain Nigerian prince who promised to store some of his fortune there). And the best part is that PayPal offers protection for your investment. Say, you decide to deposit a tenner into your online casino of choice, and then suddenly you realize that your account is still empty, and the casino is being very uncooperative despite the fact that they still billed you. Have no fear, PayPal will refund you! … Or at least they would have.

Change is coming to the platform, folks, and none of it’s good. According to recent amendments to PayPal’s policies, the company will no longer offer protection on several services. Some are understandable, such as donations done to projects listed on crowdfunding sites like “Kickstarter”. That makes sense – with so many projects failing to deliver, PayPal would go bankrupt if they refunded each one forever. Others are just plain weird, like payments done to government organizations. I’m not entirely sure I understand this one, but it doesn’t really matter. The worst part for us gamblers is that PayPal will no longer offer protection for payments done on sites dealing with “gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize”, which… Sucks. It’s not hard to understand why they had to do it – I’m guessing that plenty of sore losers decided to try and take their money back after not enjoying a casino experience. But it’s pretty dumb that the rest of us honest gamblers need to suffer because of it as well.

It’s important to note that the changes aren’t worldwide – they’re only applicable to several countries, such as the US, Canada and Brazil (where they’ll take effect on June 25th), but it’s not hard to imagine that pretty soon the rest of the world will follow, especially when it comes to countries where gambling is a big thing. In my estimation, by the end of the year Germany, Spain, the UK and other big EU markets will also have one less reason to recommend PayPal, but that’s just me, so don’t quote me on it. Here’s hoping for the best!

Tricks to Be a Pro at Online Roulette
  admin        March 1, 2016

Hot Online Roulette Tricks & Tips
If you plan on investing some serious time and funds in playing roulette on the Internet, then you might as well do it right! You have probably played in land-based casinos, but when it comes to playing it online, there are a few things that you should do before you get started. First of all, know the rules of the game very well and all the different betting patterns and strategies, because playing black or red simply won’t be enough. There are many bets that can really bring you bigger wins and cover more of the roulette layout while saving you a lot of time in the process.

But let’s not forget that first of all you need to find the right place to play at. Casinoroulette.co.uk will guide you through the best online roulette sites, so that you can make a truly informed choice and count your blessings later on, especially if you plan on playing for high stakes. To give you an example of why it is so important where you play, let’s say that you want to play multiple live dealer games at a time; but what you don’t know is that very few operators will give you that opportunity.

Also, many casinos rely mainly on slot fans, neglecting roulette players and only feature 2 or 3 variations and very little variety in terms of betting limits. And you want a wide range of betting limits, especially if you plan on using progressive betting systems. I am not saying that these hold the secret to beating roulette, but many players use them when placing outside bets.

Try to avoid American Roulette, since it has two things you won’t like and your bankroll won either – 0-00-1-2-3, which is the worst bet in all roulette variations with a 7.89% house edge and the overall worst house edge – 5.26, as opposed to 1.35% as is the case for French Roulette. Speaking of French Roulette, it would also be a good idea to give it a try instead of your regular European Roulette, because there you can play using the La Partage and En Prison rules, which significantly lower the house edge, hence raising your chances to win more.

And a last, but valuable piece of advice from me: stay away from strange variations, with low RTP. I know that playing games like Mini Roulette or other extravagant variations can be a lot of fun, but most of the times these games have really high house edges, even if they feature some extra payouts and bets. If you must, throw a few pounds to tale them for a spin, but save your bankroll for more advantageous games such as French Roulette.
